I made this film a few years ago to celebrate the remarkable work that The Theater Project in Brunswick, Maine does with teens in the community. Like all cultural institutions, small and big, The Theater Project needs support, especially as their audiences collapse during social distancing. Please enjoy the film – watch it again if you’ve already seen it. And if you like it, send them some money: The Theater Project 14 School St. Brunswick, Maine 04011.
VOICES, a 40-minute documentary tribute to Al Miller, Wendy Poole, and 45 years of young people who have found a home at the Theater Project in Brunswick. The film follows the 2015 production of Voices in the Mirror, but within a larger perspective of how this theater has affected the lives of so many young people.

The Bangor Daily News put up a piece today about Growing Up Bowdoinham, and Third Chapter Films. Thanks, BDN.
Growing Up Bowdoinham will be shown on Maine Public Television: Thursday June 13 at 10 pm and Saturday June 15th at 11 am, as part of MPBN’s Community Film Series.
I made this 47-minute film, with the help of some 7th grade students from our town, to celebrate Bowdoinham’s 250th anniversary in 2012. It played twice to standing room only crowds at the Town Hall and is on its second DVD printing. Copies are available at the Bowdoinham Town Office, the Long Branch Store, or at Gulf of Maine Books in Brunswick.
